It was a great pleasure of having an all access passes to go around and taking pictures of the artist (A big thanks to Air Asia, RedTix). With such a privilege, it's should be a lot easier to most of the photographers. But for me, It's quite challenge as this is the first time i've been expose such a scene and still lots of things to learn, especially with the speed of manual focus when it comes to low light.

It's easy to shoot a stand still subject yet you no worries on the gesture of it, but it's hard to bring out the most important things which is the soul of the pics or the other words, expression.

Hmmm... Title mentions Lantern Festival but what shows 70% of the pics are lion and dragon dance. Oh well, most pictures are taken with at least ISO 1000 with manual setting on shutter and aperture speed. Seems Canon 50D can perform quite well with night shots. Love it :)
